We value the benefits of work/life balance through a hybrid work environment. While regular office presence is not required for this hybrid position, we strongly encourage our employees to work in the office two days a week, with Wednesday as an anchor day to strengthen our collaborative and supportive culture. Managers (with direct reports) are required to work in the office on the anchor day. Generally, twice a year for two consecutive days, all employees report to the office for special staff meetings/functions. As a result, only local candidates will be considered for this position .
Salary range: Starting at $58,000
Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Coordinator will focus on enhancing the organization’s digital presence through effective website development, search engine optimization (SEO), and data analytics. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization’s WordPress websites, ensuring SEO best practices, and using digital analytics tools to assess campaign performance. This individual will collaborate closely with internal teams to create a seamless digital experience that aligns with our goals and values.
Responsibilities and Duties
WordPress Development and Website Management
Monitor and update the organization’s WordPress website, including creating new pages, editing existing content, and implementing plugins to improve functionality and user experience.
Collaborate with design and IT teams to ensure the website is secure, accessible, and visually aligned with brand standards.
Optimize web pages for performance, load speed, and mobile usability.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Implement and maintain SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and increase web traffic.
Conduct keyword research and develop strategies to optimize website content, blogs, and landing pages.
Monitor and improve on-page SEO elements such as metadata, tags, and headings, and ensure SEO alignment with all campaigns.
Analytics and Digital Performance Tracking
Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, and similar platforms) to monitor website traffic, engagement metrics, and campaign performance.
Generate regular reports to assess the effectiveness of digital strategies and recommend improvements based on data insights.
Set up and manage Google Tag Manager to track events, conversions, and user behavior on the website.
Content Development and Coordination
Collaborate with the content and product marketing teams to develop SEO-optimized content for blogs, landing pages, and product pages.
Assist in the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns and ensure landing pages are optimized for conversions.
Provide website support for A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives.
Cross-Department Collaboration and Trend Analysis
Work closely with internal teams to align website and SEO strategies with broader marketing objectives.
Stay up to date with the latest SEO, analytics, and digital marketing trends, implementing new tools and strategies as appropriate.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field.
Minimum two years of experience with WordPress website management and SEO implementation.
Strong understanding of technical SEO, keyword research, and search engine algorithms.
Proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and HubSpot.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with WordPress plugins and page builders.
Skill in compiling, analyzing, and reporting on website and digital campaign performance metrics.
Experience managing email campaigns and coordinating landing pages for lead generation.
Strong content creation, writing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Bonus Skills
Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot.
Familiarity with Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or other SEO tools.
Experience with accessibility standards and website compliance (e.g., ADA/WCAG).
Knowledge of project management tools like Smartsheet, Asana or Trello.
Graphic design experience using tools such as Adobe Express.
Experience working in a healthcare or medical association environment.
Working knowledge of Associated Press (AP) style
